Sampling sponge with stick (Laser-cut pouch)

Sponge quality High-quality cellulose sponge suitable for Salmonella and Listeria testing. Once in the laboratory, the Sodibox sponge enables optimal release of organisms in the pre-enrichment phase.
Releasable stick with clamp system Made in France. Ergonomic handle equipped with a clamp system allowing easy and secure separation of the sponge after sampling. Integrated thumb-stop to prevent any contact with the sponge. Easy access to hard-to-reach areas (drains, pipes, recesses).
Diluents Our diluents are manufactured in compliance with ISO11133.
Bag quality Our sampling bags are perfectly suited for stomacher processing and feature easy opening and reclosing, ensuring sample integrity throughout transport.

Accessories – Gloves
This sterile sponge kit for salmonella and listeria consists of four main components:
- Sampling medium: cellulose sampling sponge, size 5,5 x 4 x 1,5 cm, for a total volume of 33 cm³
- The detachable stick with a clamp system allows for easy separation after sampling and is equipped with a thumb guard to prevent any contact with the sponge
- The diluent is formulated according to current standards. Consistent volume calibrated for use with all kits
- A laser-cut sample pouch, size 20 x 32.5 cm, with an inscription zone for sample identification and seals tested and validated for use in stomacher, with repositionable reclosure label – glue guaranteed for food contact
- Optional ambidextrous, latex-free sterile gloves available

Main advantages of our releasable stick with clamp system:
- Easy to Separate and Handle The clamp allows for easy separation of the sponge from the handle after sampling. Time saving and reduction of tedious handling, particularly important in environments where numerous samples need to be collected quickly.
- Reduced Risk of Contamination The easy separation of the sponge from the stick with a clamp minimizes the risk of cross-contamination, as the user does not need to break the stick, which could potentially introduce external contaminants or cause unwanted splashes.
- Safety and Comfort The clamp system is safer and more ergonomic. Unlike sticks that must be broken, no risk of accidents, cuts or splinters, especially with high frequency of use.
- Sample Integrity The clamp separation method helps maintain the integrity of the sample. If the stick is broken, it can introduce external particles into the sample, compromising the accuracy of the results.
- Integrated Thumb-Stop A thumb-stop helps negate contact with the sponge during handling.
