Polyurethane sampling sponge with stick (laser-cut sampling bag)
Sterility Gamma-ray sterilization by ionization at 20 Kilograys minimum. Sterility of each product batch verified by an external COFRAC-certified laboratory
Sponge quality High-quality polyurethane sponge suitable for Salmonella and Listeria testing. Once in the laboratory, the Sodibox sponge enables optimal release of organisms in the pre-enrichment phase.
Releasable stick with clamp system Made in France. Ergonomic handle equipped with a clamp system allowing easy and secure separation of the sponge after sampling. Integrated thumb-stop to prevent any contact with the sponge. Easy access to hard-to-reach areas (drains, pipes, recesses).
Diluents Our diluents are manufactured in compliance with ISO11133.
Bag quality Our sampling bags are perfectly suited for stomacher processing and feature easy opening and reclosing, ensuring sample integrity throughout transport.

Easy to separate and handle The clamp allows easy separation of the sponge from the handle after sampling. Saves time and reduces tedious handling, particularly important in environments where many samples need to be taken quickly.

Reduced risk of contamination Simplified separation of the sponge from the handle using pliers minimizes the risk of cross-contamination, as the user does not need to break the handle, which could potentially introduce external contaminants or cause unwanted splashes.

Safety and comfort The gripper system is safer and more ergonomic. Unlike handles that have to be broken off, there’s no risk of accidents, cuts or splinters, especially with frequent use.

Sample integrity The clamp separation method helps to maintain sample integrity. If the handle is broken, this can introduce external particles into the sample, compromising the accuracy of results.
