Our history

Breton expertise since 1983

Based in Brittany, at the heart of a dynamic agri-food and animal production ecosystem, SodiBox has been helping professionals with their quality control needs for 40 years.

1983
The beginning

Creation of SodiBox in Brittany. Production of transport boxes for biological samples intended for medical biology laboratories. A company based in an area known for its diversity of companies and players in the agri-food and animal production sectors.

1997
Innovation and diversification

Creation of SodiBox in Brittany. Production of transport boxes for biological samples intended for medical biology laboratories. A company based in an area known for its diversity of companies and players in the agri-food and animal production sectors.

2000
Installation at headquarters
Locaux de Sodibox à Névez, en Bretagne, entreprise française spécialisée dans la fabrication d’emballages innovants, où travaillent l’ensemble des équipes de production, commerciales et administratives, dans un bâtiment moderne entouré de verdure.

Move to the Nevez site: 1,500m² of covered space in a 3-hectare landscaped park. A modern, functional site to develop the business.

2003
Certification and Services

First ISO 9001 certification for all activities and products. Subscription service launched. A long-standing commitment to continuous improvement, providing all customers with the assurance of rigorous compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, renewed every year to this day.

2010-2020
New production workshop, international expansion

Installation of a new media production facility for wipes and SteriSox impregnation. Consolidation of international presence in over 30 countries. Expansion of the range of sterile sampling devices.

2023-2026
Ongoing commitment and looking to the future

Ongoing renewal of ISO 9001 certification. Continued commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Continuous improvement approach. Constantly evolving product offering to meet customer expectations.
